you can put a trace(this) on frame 1 of the clip that has your pdf. that will give you its full path from within the scrollpane.

I am not adding the movieclip to the stage, rather, I have associated the symbol with the scrollPane. It works great, but I can't figure out how to gain a reference to the content of the scrollPane.
