There are plenty of ways to go about 5 & 6. You could set it up as an attribute within the XML node where if it sees a "video" attribute in the attributes property, then pop up a button that will point to your video (if that's what you're trying to do... or are you trying to pop up a button that plays a video - either way, the principle is somewhat the same).
