Explain your setup and maybe show us some code. The combobox should just work.

Now we hit what seems like a brick wall. We select an item from the dropdown and it works fine the first time. The second time it works okay. The third time it just stops working. There is apparently a reference in the component to the root timeline that prevents it from operating normally. We've tried _lockroot, we've tried swapping depths of __dropdown every single time you click on the combo box. None of our hacks work. We tried the bjc bitcomponent combobox and it looks horrendous and doesn't seem to fire any of the events, either. Any suggestions?
