Sorry, I should have been specific. I'm using CS3 on Windows Vista, publishing as F8. Using AS2 & AS2 components. Code is almost pure OOP, except for the preloader and a couple dozen lines in frame 6 where I instantiate some movie clips with my MC subclass.
Oh, yes--I'm not a novice, so you don't have to be too gentle. I've been programming for 25 years.
