You can do a couple of things; try this first:

What i do here is on the ENTER_FRAME event i draw the video to a Bitmap.
You can try doing hte RMTP stream hack, explained here:

It talks of a way to circumvent the sanbox by connecting, drawing and
then reconnecting.
