Freelance AS3 opportunity: Portland, Oregon, USA

We are currently seeking a professional AS3 developer to join our
development team on a creative website project. This position allows for
telecommuting but we do want this candidate to be located onshore and we
are not considering offshore solutions or development firms for this
position.
Ideal Candidate will have the following:
Methodology:
* Able to work well independently
* Comfortable working to your own deadlines
* writing and/or coding to documentation
* writing clean clear code [comments, variables etc]
* managing your own time and giving reliable time estimates for work -
including the ability to break down tasks into smaller estimates, if
necessary
* proactive when it comes to meeting your objectives and informing other
of your [potential lack of] progress.
If you do not live in or near Portland, Oregon - then you ideally are
still in the same timezone [or only a few hours difference]. SKYPE for
audio/video/text chat would make things much easier.
Required skills:
* Senior AS3 skill set
* Good AS2 skill set
* strict OO programming methods
* Application/WEB 2.0 experience
* knowledge of various design patterns, and when to apply/combine them
* DB connectivity
* UML [documentation ability to read/comment/follow]
* capable of integrating various AS1, 2 and 3 swf's into core system
* skinning interfaces/site with delivered design components
* shared libraries
* shared objects
* XML/E4X
* broadcast event models
Nice-to-have:
* experience building modular flash-based: Application Frameworks
* experience with (text) chatting systems
* game development
* massive multiplayer online development experience
* FLEX 2.0
* old Flash 5.0 Experience
* MySQL
* PHP
* JAVA
* Server side application experience
* User Authentication experience
* (Group Based) concurrent set up experience
* Multiuser online experience
* Scalable and security focused web architecture
* Experience with cloud computing
