Hello -

My name is Cory Hudson and I am the Design Director at Advertising.com (now
part of AOL's Platform-A). I currently have two positions available in our
Baltimore office. The first position is for an entry level Flash Designer and
the second is for a more experienced Interactive Designer. I am pretty much
interested in speaking to anyone that is proficient in Flash and who also has a
good eye for design. If you are interested in either position, please feel
free to contact me directly via email, phone or Aim, all of which are listed at
the bottom of this email in my email signature.

Here are some additional details about the job openings:

1) Interactive Designer Wanted

Creativity. Stability. Air Hockey. Yes friends, you can have it all.

Advertising.com is once again on the lookout for an interactive designer to
join the ranks of our Creative Services team. Imagine working on major online
campaigns every day without worrying if your creative director is taking his
medication, you'll ever have dental coverage or your agency will survive the
next audit. There is such a place, gentle reader. And it is in Baltimore.

Here's what we need from you:
* Conceptual skills on par with your design chops. Ad agency refugees are
welcomed openly.
* Seriously good Flash kung-fu. ActionScripting is good stuff, too.
* Strong skills in the other requisite stuff: Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML and
so on.
* Animation and illustration skills make us smile broadly.
* Grace under pressure. Fire drills are part of the gig. Don't panic. It never
helps.
* Good social skills. Listening, talking and the rest of it. You don't have to
be able to tell a joke, but you should be able to take one.
* An online portfolio. Please don't send print stuff. We'd be happy to look at
your print work once you get the job, but not before.

Here's what we provide in return:
* A cool group of coworkers, a great company to work for, and a very spiffy
office about fifty feet from the Baltimore Harbor.
* The opportunity to do great work for great clients almost as soon as you sit
down at your desk.
* Benefits the likes of which you won't see elsewhere. Honest to Pete, they're
that good.
* Happy hours, softball leagues, ping-pong and all that cool dot-com stuff. Oh,
and we just bought a Wii. Neat-o, huh?

If this sounds good to you, here's what you should do now:
* Write me an email telling us why you're just what we need.
* Include a link to your website or online portfolio.

We know you're out there somewhere. Show yourself!

2) Flash Designer Wanted

Creativity. Stability. Air Hockey. Yes friends, you can have it all.

Come work for one of the Baltimore area's most dynamic companies,
Advertising.com, as a flash designer in our Creative Services Department.
Imagine plying your trade without having to worry about your crazy creative
director, your measly vacation time or your overworked, under-loved interactive
department. Think about it. Let the smile spread slowly across your face. Now
read on.

Here's what our next designer needs:
* Conceptual skills, not just technical chops.
* The ability to create memorable online campaigns.
* Strong skills in the requisite programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, HTML.
If you know ActionScript, that'd be cool, too.
* Animation and Illustration skills would not go unnoticed.
* Grace under pressure. Firedrills aren't uncommon. Don't panic. It never helps.
* Good social skills. Listening, talking, the whole gamut. After all, we gotta
work with you.
* An online portfolio.

In return, he or she will receive the following in cash and prizes:
* A cool group of coworkers, a great company to work for and a rather nice
office space with stunning harbor views.
* The opportunity to do great work for great clients almost as soon as you sit
down at your desk.
* Benefits the likes of which you won't see anywhere else. Honest to Pete,
they're that good.
* Happy hours, softball leagues, foosball, all that cool dot.com workspace
stuff... there's even an Atari 2600 around here somewhere.

Here's where you sign:
* Write me an email telling us why you should join our merry band.
* Include a link to your website or online portfolio

That's all you need to know. Now get to it!

I am looking forward to speaking with some of you soon...thanks for your time!
