Hi, if you are rendering it to jpg's what does the polygon count matter? Crank it up until it looks so good you're pc is on its knees:) We've been doing like wise things, which required about 180 jpg's, but you might be able to skip a lot of those using some nice effects. In addition in our setup you can only stop every 20 frames I think, and all the frames in between (while moving) are lower quality to save filesize.
