I have been commissioned to create an online game type thing that allows users to records a video and audio of them singing a song, using their web cam and a microphone I guess. I haven't done any flash work before doing this kind of thing so just wanted to get a heads up on what I need to achieve this. Essentially I just need to get the video footage and audio to the client server. The client will deal with it after this. My main question is do I need some special software on the server side or is this something that can be done using the flash player alone? I have no restrictions on the version of Flash to create this with/for.
