Dear sir/madam, I am trying to communicate with a 1MB SST25VF010 flash chip using flashrom V0.9.2-r1141 on Ubuntu 11.04 through a Bus Pirate v3b. I am a novice user of all four. Flashrom reports: Found chip "Generic unknown SPI chip (RDID)" (0 KB, SPI) at physical address 0x0. Could it be that this chip (http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/82222.pdf) is not supported by flashrom? Could it be that flashrom is not using the required serial mode 0 or 3?
