All of the RSID and so on needs to be in the configure tabs where they belong. The spot button could be for either RSID or the notifications depending on the users configuration settings. Of course to me the notifications is a complete waste of time. It doesn't provide any more information than the pskbrowser does. As far as the other modes the user has to click on the signal for the notifier to work. Kind of pointless to me. I know I'm in a minority here, but the more cluttered the gui, the more confusing it will be for the end user. Unless we are aiming at the Multipsk group. When is the last time someone asked what the store button does and how does it work. We seem to be moving more in the direction to please the emcomm group. I by no means will slight their work, but they are not the only ones that use fldigi. In all of the time I've been invovled with fldigi, and all of the hours of testing, I don't ever remember seeing anyone transmiting a RSID. I have a small list of features that I think would be useful, but seeing the direction fldigi is going, they will never materialize. And *NO* I'm not giving up on fldigi the least little bit.
