If cwdaemon truly has problems sending at higher speeds, and Dave's explanation makes sense to me, then is it possible that the lack of high speed CW generation is holding back the development of contest grade logging software? It think it might be. In fact the K1EL Winkeyer and N0XAS MK-1 were developed to address the same issue on MS Windows: http://www.hamgadgets.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=106 I may only be able to copy above 25 WPM with difficulty and multiple repeats, but I don't wish to limit those who can work those speeds and faster.
