Remi,

I also noticed that WEFAX creates a log entry for each received fax which
fills the log up very quickly with invalid entries that must be removed by
hand.
This is right, I thought it was a good idea, but not ;)... I prepared a fix for that abd pushed it a couple of months ago to:

https://git.berlios.de/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=fldigi;a=commit;h=d67d8f1e86e9c3be39282292f02cd5abd4203858

It just needs to be merged. Here is the changes log:

* Received and transmit files optionaly logged to adif file.
* Code cleanup, more comments.
* Reception speed-up.
* Better error detection.
* More input filters.
* Fixed bug when switching mode with a macro.
* Minimum size for saving image is increased.
* modem::cap must be OR-ed.

Cheers

Remi

This might be an issue for Dave to handle - allow multiple select in the log
editor so that groups of invalid entries can be easily removed. Also a CSV
import function might be nice so that you can export to CSV, edit the
entries and re-import to a new "clean" logbook in ADIF format. It would also
serve to ensure that there are no hidden characters in the new logbook.

Thanks,

make sure the replay audio option is turned on ... then attempt to
retune a mis-tuned WEFAX modem.

mine just hangs...
What should it do ? Do you think it comes from Wefax code ?
