The following are my two wish list items for fldigi: - Fix the disabled (dimmed) 'PTT via Hamlib command' in fldig-3.21.9.dmg and fldigi-3.22.0AA.dmg.
Since changing to a direct USB interface I cannot use Hamlib until the disabled PTT option is made active. The only reason I prefer Hamlib over RigCAT is Hamlib reports VFO-B for working DX splits. - Add an fldigi audio output slider Fldigi's raw audio output is pretty strong and has to be reduced to control the ALC. The dumb Menu #64 audio input control on my TS-590S has 10 step functions rather than a POT. Step #2 is too low (no ALC is displayed on the S-Meter) and Step #3 is too high (full scale ALC on the S-Meter). The only way I have to attenuate the fldigi audio output is to use the OS X System Preferences Sound/Output panel and the volume output slider is already near the left side giving me little control. Having an audio output slider in fldigi would be a welcome addition.
