Interesting point about TX.  Why do you suppose you get worse results?  On
my rigs, the TX goes through the widest SSB TX filter installed (2.8 KHz for
example) and th sweet spot of 1500Hz ought to be the best for both TX and RX
as it is the same filter.  What filter architecture does you rig use?

By "best" for TX do you mean least distortion, or least TX audio level
required (least atteuation)?
