Getting there, still. :) I ended up re-writing a lot of stuff as a result of
the "handshake". Several late nights there...
BTW Dave, I didn't mean to can the idea totally of simulating
videoconferencing-like traffic, so thanks for that- it made me at least leave
open a way to send packets with different sizes and on different schedules.
This won't be a V1 thing though. I'd hoped that the server can stay pretty
"dumb" as something that just returns packets. But if that's the case, I
suppose it won't simulate videoconferencing traffic very well. I'm pretty sure
you don't see the same packets echoed back right away in real-world
videoconferencing traffic. I'd expect rather independent streams in each
direction, but I've not looked at it.
Anyway, next time it's about posted code, promise. :) I've got a weeklong
family visit starting later next week, so I'd love to get it done by then, but
when it combines with work and other stuff, it's hard to say...
