Note that the "if it didn't happen on the dev list it didn't happen" rule is not negociable for Apache projects, that's one of the things that makes them work. But it doesn't mean this list is the only channel - it's the only one for Flex committers and PPMC members to have discussions "that count" and make decisions. >From what I've read here I'd suggest adding the following on the http://incubator.apache.org/flex/mailing-lists.html page: "Some of use are hanging out on IRC in the #flex channel, feel free to get in touch there" Or something like that. It's a fact, it doesn't confer any officialness to that channel and it helps people who like IRC. We might actually want to rename that website page "communication channels" and over time include references to where the action is, stackoverflow tags, etc. but that's a distinct question. -Bertrand
