Carol Frampton commented on FLEX-56: ------------------------------------ The default toolTip is a TextField so it won't understand direction. I think you need to create a custom ToolTip by extending spark Label and and implementing the IToolTip interface. See http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flex/using/WS2db454920e96a9e51e63e3d11c0bf60d65-7ff6.html#WS2db454920e96a9e51e63e3d11c0bf60d65-7fee. > RTL Tooltip is not presented well in RTL languages > -------------------------------------------------- > > Key: FLEX-56 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLEX-56 > Project: Apache Flex > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Project Management > Environment: All > Reporter: Tamar Amit > Assignee: Bertrand Delacretaz > Priority: Critical > Labels: rtl, tooltip > Attachments: RtlTooltipExample.rar > > Original Estimate: 48h > Remaining Estimate: 48h > > The Tooltip component is not presented well in RTL languages like Hebrew and > Arabic. > It seems that the adobe team didn't take care of this issue, hence when it > used in spark labels for example the text is idented to the left (as the > default ltr layout does) -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
