Yes we do that as well i.e. run flexbuilder when we switch branches
let's say.

However I have implemented a patch to add some useful functionality to
flexmojos:flexbuilder:

    - It will allow you to declare additional applications - these
won't be compiled/attached, they'll just be recognised by the
Flexbuilder IDE
    - Attachment of the SDK sources
    - A pom config that will tell flexmojos:flexbuilder to resolve
paths against M2_HOME

The last one needs a bit more thought as it seems we want CLI-maven to
do one thing and FB-maven to do something else... I think, lol.

If anyone is interested in this, please say so and I'll make a JIRA
entry asap and whosoever can vote it up.
