We have two distinct SWFs which currently share no code, and are built from separate source trees. We have not been using mvn deploy to place artifacts in Artifactory, because the SWFs are integrated with other stuff built by MSBuild. Bamboo invokes MSBuild which invokes maven, with a build number passed all the way down to the SWF.
There is some potential for sharing code between the products, and I'm considering stepping into the world of releasing libraries into Artifactory, although we might also reorganize the source trees into one. My question is about branching. Currently, we often have two separate CI builds, one for the trunk and one for the current release. If I had a common library deployed to Artifactory, and needed to fix a bug for a branch only, how would I deal with that? Is the version number something provided on the command line when doing the deploy? Would I just deploy multiple different versions of the common library and refer to the appropriate one in the branched SWF build? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Flex Mojos" group.
