I wonder who will end up as the official maintainer of this technology? There is a huge community, and I believe that in the absence of Adobe's stubbornness and marketing based feature decisions, we will actually benefit as a community from this. I would like to see Adobe contribute the code of FlashBuilder to the OpenSource market as well...
If Adobe is going to cease development of Flash and Friends, then the community must have access to the most recent build of a "stable" development platform. There are too many important developers and major corporations who are dependent on this technology to have the IDE discarded by the wayside.
