Hi,

As being official now, I would like to keep you informed about what I
did in the last weeks:
I have managed to get the testsuite to run 100% with the 4.5 sdk. All
of the problems in the suite were related to Adobe adding a huge
degeneration in the SDK and some bugs in third party software being
resolved, which in return broke workarounds to those bugs in the
testsuite.

Currently there is one major issue though related to ASDoc. In the
newer SDK versions the ASDoc library shipped by Adobe has degeneated
dramatically. As soon as there is an "@" sign in the comment, the
output is completely runied. This is due to the fact, that Adobe
doesn't escape any of the potentially dangerous entities and they
build the output using StringBuilder and are not using a single XML
api for generating output (What a shame). The only solution I can see
for this is to rewrite the ASDoc lib and forcefully reference that new
version in future Flexmojos version. This rewrite however is
completely the responsability of Apache now. Hopefully they will be
fixing this some time soon. Just wanted you to know, that this is not
a Flexmojos issue and we can currenltly only manually escape the
special chars.

In parallel I am setting up a Continuous Integration server (Linux on
an EC2 instance) that will take care of building and running all the
tests. Hopefully Flexmojos trunk will stay stable with a 100% green
testsuite from now on. Unfortunately I am having some trouble with
running the Flashplayer on this headless instance. So if anyone here
could help me with this, I would be really glad to have this off my
table ;-)

I have started migrating the content of the old confluence to the new
one and am refactoring the structure of the site. Hopefully it will be
easier to find the desired information this way. Also I will try to
update the documentation to Flexmojos 5.1 so I have to validate all of
it's content. Additionally I will be merging in the tutorials I
created in my own confluence under http://dev.c-ware.de/confluence/
(Also updating that to 5.1). Creating multiple versions for all the
old versions would be insanely large task, so I will eventually create
some diff-like documentations for the old versions.

As Velo I too am dedicating my time and resources (The EC2 instance
doesn't come for free) to this project, because I believe it's a dam
good piece of software.

Chris
