  I haven't read the Flex license, personally but in most cases academic 
licenses are limited to classroom / educational use and become null and 
void when you cease to become a student.  A teacher or professor would need 
a commercial license for outside consulting.

  You should read the academic license very carefully before purchasing an 
academic version of the software.
