Server identity is only for LCDS integration, nothing to do with remote 
objects.Changing the identity might create conflicts in case you have 
more than 1 instance with the same ID.
When compiling your application if you leave the default tokens it will 
work perfectly no matter what domain you load it from.

I do also have Flex Builder on my local machine and I'm totally able to 
deploy on dev or production servers with ColdFusion with Remoting / LCDS 
support project type.
