Hey Jester,

I have flex 1.5 running on tomcat on my local windows xp sp2 machine.
I'm running tomcat 4.1.30 and don't have any problems.

The default port for a tomcat install is '8080'. Is there a webapps
directory in the tomcat root? That's where you should deploy your war
files.

Also I'm assuming you have JAVA_HOME as a windows environment
variable? You should also add CATALINA_HOME (tomcat) and then add it
to your path as %CATALINA_HOME%\bin; (same for JAVA_HOME)

If this doesnt help please post back with your problems.

Best,

Andrew.
