If you're using RemoteObject, you can set the endpoint property to a remote Flex / Flash Remoting server in the mx:RemoteObject tag. The default is generated from the url set in the /WEB-INF/flex/flex-config.xml file, which happens to be a relative URL by default (to your local machine).
Also, are you aware of the sandbox security restrictions on the Flash Player 7 plugin and do you know about crossdomain.xml policy files? -----Original Message----- From: Libby Chantel [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, April 04, 2005 5:49 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [flexcoders] Run MXML on PC, Calling to Java on Remote Server - Help Is this not doable? --- Libby Chantel <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I am a newbie with Flex, trying to get it going for > a > proof of concept.
