I had a few problems with this too [1]. There's a link to a small demo which shows how it could work, however, there's still the problem with the binding and automatic updates of the displayed content. I managed to do this with lots of event listeners that dispatch the events from sub-objects ... In case you want to use the sort function in the grid you have to implement a custom sortCompareFunction as well. However, there are a few problems.
