Hi Douglas,

Probably, it does not change the point. If you buy a box of software
and it contains the bug  it is quite normal to expect that distributor
will issue a patch for it. 
If Compare tool is an external add-on, it will be so easy to Adobe,
just to grab the .jar and add to the next update.

I can't see the problem here.
