Swf <--> swf is usually pretty smooth sailing, the flash player does a good job of hiding you from a lot of the grunginess.
Swf <--> anything else is annoying as you'll have to pretty much redo all the fun stuff the FP hides from you. The main pitfall is the 40k limit on the localconnection file, if you are needing to read / write anything larger, you need to page it and be careful about the timings. If there's anything specific you want to know, hit me up off list. We've done a whole lot of work with the LocalConnection recently! Gk. I've got to build some LocalConnection voodoo in the next couple of weeks at work, anybody have any tips, or pitfalls I should look out for? Or is it usually smooth sailing? -Josh
