I created a mask that covers an image completely except for a rectangle in the middle. It works like I want it to, but I can't apply a color to the non masked area around the rectangle in the middle. I also want to apply an alpha to that color so the image can be seen but it will be grayed out.
I am trying to create an effect like the photo crop feature on picnik.com.
