Hi guys, it's been a while since I posted. I'm having an issue when calling mxmlc from command line: your typical "Error: a JVM can't be loaded/found" thingie.
After some research, it seemed that my problem had to do with having a JRE/JDK 6 (or 5, update 6) installed<http://java.sun.com/javase/6/webnotes/#windows> . So, I want the Flex SDK to ALWAYS use the same JRE, a 1.5 nicely tested one (Just like the one distributed with the SDK itself). To do this, suposedly I should edit the jvm.config file in the <flex_sdk_version>/bin directory. The thing is, if I use an absolute path, everything works like a charm but I haven't been able to set a relative path in it. I'd like to have one config file suitable for any scenario, depending on where the JRE is. I've googled and re-googled it, but haven't found a way to set a relative path to that variable. Does anyone know if this is even possible? I find it hard to believe that the Adobe guys didn't think of allowing relative paths. TIA, Guido.
