I don't have a ModelLocator, just one or more Models :) but yes, that's what goes in the "model" package. I have my own MVC framework, based on Cairngorm and ARP.
ARP is what I started out with in AS2 (Flash) and Cairngorm is what most people moved over to when AS3 and/or Flex 2 came out.
