Aldo, I'd download the latest nightly build from http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/flexsdk/Download+Flex+4 (currently 4.0.0.10608). If you're still seeing the layout issues in that build (or any other issues), please file a bug at http://bugs.adobe.com/flex/.
