Hi, Can anyone recommend a good read for garbage collection and when it kicks in, how it works, etc?...
I'm particularly interested in learning about what happens to variables/ objects that are declared in a local function but are assigned to the global 'Model', then the function ends so the local variable, I guess dies with it... Am I right to assume that because that Object is still referenced by the global 'Model' the Object in memory is kept and not garbage collected. I'm interested in how it works as I'm sure it'll help my coding with better understanding... Thanks, Nick
