Are you embedding a font? Could be that the JRE embedded the font differently? Try switching to the batik encoder?

All works fine except that the SWF compiled on the staging server displays text inside an mx.controls.Alert box differently than on our testing system when the message contains linebreaks. On the test system the text gets displayed ok and the Alert box resizes correctly. On the staging server the text gets clipped and the Alert box does not resize. My first bet was that it has something to do with the underlying JRE but on the other hand the Alert box gets created at runtime so it reall shouldn't matter at all. Any ideas?
