I have been reading lately about double buffering, bitmap blipping and 
other techniques to take advantage of Flash's new exposure of bitmap 
APIs. All of the examples I have read so far involve many objects that 
don't change a lot and combining them into a single large bitmap. My 
question to those of you that know anything on these topics is as follows:

Is this technique also appropriate for a only few objects that scale and 
transform in size, color, blend modes and alpha?
