I have been reading lately about double buffering, bitmap blipping and other techniques to take advantage of Flash's new exposure of bitmap APIs. All of the examples I have read so far involve many objects that don't change a lot and combining them into a single large bitmap. My question to those of you that know anything on these topics is as follows:
Is this technique also appropriate for a only few objects that scale and transform in size, color, blend modes and alpha? -trey -- Flexcoders Mailing List FAQ: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/flexcoders/files/flexcodersFAQ.txt Search Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexcoders%40yahoogroups.com Yahoo!
