They will be a developer on the user interface side of a team which includes UI and server-side developers. They would primarily code rich internet applications as part of a team working on applications in this space. The team that this person would work on is using an agile development methodology (similar to XP or SCRUM) so the ideal candidate will thrive in a change oriented environment.
