Web Interface Developer

Job Description

This person will be responsible for working with a team of full-time 
and contract development staff creating Rich Internet Applications. 
They will be a developer on the user interface side of a team which 
includes UI and server-side developers. They would primarily code 
rich internet applications as part of a team working on applications 
in this space.

The team that this person would work on is using an agile development 
methodology (similar to XP or SCRUM) so the ideal candidate will 
thrive in a change oriented environment.

The responsibilities include:
- Writing code for Rich Internet Applications (including unit test 
cases)
- Identifying and overcoming obstacles in project process and 
technical execution
- Implementing departmental policies and processes for all types of 
development work (unit test discipline, participates in code reviews 
etc)

Qualifications
- HTML/JavaScript expert
- Significant experience (3+ years) with Flash or Flex
- Significant experience (3+ years) working with XML related 
technologies
- Significant experience working with design patterns (MVC, Command 
etc)
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience with test driven development
- Exposure to usability practices
- Exposure to Java and other server-side technologies (.Net, SOA, etc)
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work across several organizations and interface with 
business people
- Flexible attitude that enables the individual to deal with changing 
priorities
