itemRenderer is what you want, it shouldn’t be null.  Can you provide a brief example that demonstrates?

Subject: [flexcoders] Beta 2: ListEvent.itemRenderer is always null?

Hello List;

I’m going through the process, as many of you are, of updating my project to Beta 2. I have an event handler for the ListEvent.ON_CLICK event. In Beta 1, I would examine the event’s cell property which contained a reference to the item renderer for the clicked item. But, in Beta 2 there is no cell property. There is, however, an itemRenderer property described in the docs as: The data provider element for the item being edited, clicked, or pressed.

Sounds promising, right? But unfortunately, this property of the event always seems to be null.

Anyone know what’s going on here?

Thanks.
Tobias.
