It has append to me too, I was able to see all master details data with no problem but after change a field I did see the changes on the master but then when I clicked on the edit button the details was empty. Same for all other record.
I'm using an sql db.

However, I have hit a slight problem trying it out
I have a master page which provides a list of people
which when I select one and press an edit button produces
a form with more details of the person. This works fine
first time out but when I select another person the form appears with
default data(zeros) rather than actual
Bit difficult to understand what I'm talking about unless you have
tried this but has anyone else had same problem?--
