As I explained earlier, MXML is 100% compliant with the syntax of XML, and can be parsed with XML tools. But that doesn't mean that there is an XML Schema that can describe which tags and attributes are legitimate in which places, Or if there is, that it is simple enough for Adobe to want to produce and maintain.
