Thanks Shan for the reply, but we are running a multi-server
configuration. Do you know where the files would have been installed in that
instance. Because I did a search and found flex-config.xml (flex-enterprise-services.xml
was not found at all) in X:\JRun4\servers\cfusion\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\WEB-INF\cfform However, the wizard will not accept that as a valid server root. Also, does the root url have any bearing on this. I set it to http://192.168.x.x/? This is the root url of the
development site. I checked the CF admin control panel and the version is 7.02, so
the update was applied. Thanks for any help, as I would really like to get this working. Thanks, Bacardi Bryant regActionTM Programmer [EMAIL PROTECTED] From:

Hicks I'd double-check that you really did update to 7.0.2. Also, are you selecting c:\cfusionmx7\wwwroot as your directory? If
you try to select c:\cfusionmx7\wwwroot\WEB-INF\flex, that's wrong. Shan From: [email protected]
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bacardi Bryant Hi, Do
I need to install FDS to use Flash Remoting services as well? Each time I try
to create a FR or FDS project, I receive an error: Invalid
server root. flex-config.xml or flex-enterprise-services.xml must exist in the
WEB-INF/flex folder within the server root. The
error is correct, b/c the files are not there. But how/where do I get the files? I
installed FB2 on my client and CF7.02 update on server. I mapped a drive
on my client to the server. Should I do anything else to begin building
Flex Apps that work with CF? Sorry
my questions are so fundamental, but I haven’t even figured out how to
install properly yet. Thanks, Bacardi Bryant regActionTM Programmer -- -- -- Flexcoders Mailing List FAQ: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/flexcoders/files/flexcodersFAQ.txt Search Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexcoders%40yahoogroups.com
