I'm not so happy with this description: "Business Delegate enlists the
application-tier service, sending itself as a responder." (BTW, there
is a typo in your diagram: "its self"!)

Actually it's not the Business Delegate that acts as a responder. The
Command class implements the Responder interface. The Business
Delegate only passes references of the Command's "onResult" and
"onFault" handlers to the Service.

Yeah, good point …. (and Thanks for the typo! I actually had our technical writer clean up my “programmer english”, so it’s been fixed)

Does that sound correct?

 

Also, what about “Command processes data and updates Model”? Should it be, “Command handles onResult of services and updates Model with data payload”?
