[flexcoders] Using one branch of XMLListCollection as a dataProvider

How do I use 
a single branch of hierarchical XMLListCollection as the dataprovider for a dataGrid? All of children at the level of the tree I'm 
using are homogeneous, but the branch is well 
below the root, so simply setting showRoot to false won't cut 
it.
