Okay, I see where the DataTip class inherits a visible property from the UIComponent class so that would be a good way to make the DataTip appear but I need some way to get access to the DataTip instance from the HitData supplied by the AreaSeries.findDataPoints method.
Does anybody know what object would be the parent of the DataTip? Thanks in advance for any help.
