ok, so one can not simply put a stop statement on some frame of an animation.  Understood....so the only way I can use a simple swf animation that has a stop action is to load it at runtime - right?  I can't see how I would make a stop action on frame 10 for an example in an animation a class :)

For me this is a showstopper :(  I am afraid I will have to continue to use the Flash 9 IDE / SEPY for my development.  To bad cause I was so exited when I read about using Flex Builder for Actionscript projects.
