You can learn more about the actual language
construct in the directives section of the ES4 spec: http://developer.mozilla.org/es4/spec/chapter_16_directives.html The language designers decided that
introducing a class into the system requires explicitly bringing it in (we
actually had to fight for wildcard importing). I don’t have a great
justification for you, only that it’s intentional. Matt From: [email protected]
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf
Of Franck de Bruijn Hi, Just a small actionscript question. I have the following interface definition: package a.b.c { public interface SecurityWebservice { function
findUser(userId: } } It does not compile (1046: Type was not found), which I find
strange since I specify the fully qualified name of the type. When I include the statement ‘import d.e.f.UserDto;’ it
compiles. Can someone explain why this is? Thanks, Franck -- Flexcoders Mailing List FAQ: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/flexcoders/files/flexcodersFAQ.txt Search Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexcoders%40yahoogroups.com
