[flexcoders] TimeTracker-like export to .xls

Hi,   Does anyone know how the TimeTracker application worked that was on the Adobe labs some time ago? I remember it had an instant export to Excel function, where no server side processing was used.   I know it’s possible to just save a html file as xls in excel, but how do you write to a file from within Flex? So without passing through the server?   Thanks!
