i dont know any idea how you can solve this problem in client side but you may
try
php preg_replace to replace § with ç etc...
exm:
$patterns[0] = '/§/';
$patterns[1] = '/á/';
$replacements[0] = 'ç';
$replacements[1] = 'A';
$text=preg_replace($patterns, $replacements, $text);
