Greetings all.
It is my pleasure to make this announcement. An early early release
of Flex Maven Plugin is now being synced to the ibiblio main
repository. The repository documentation can be found at
http://www.israfil.net/projects/mojo/maven-flex2-plugin/. This project
is BSD licensed, except where I use others' code that is already Apache
licensed. I do not have an anonymous source code repository - I will
work on that when I get back, but the sources and javadocs are all on
ibiblio per standard maven open-source deployment.
This version is an early alpha. The posted version only runs on JDK
1.5, and doesn't include the ability to link .swcs that are deployed in
maven repositories. Within the next day or so alpha2 should be on the
ibiblio server, and this will include 1.4 compatible binaries, as well
as the above mentioned dependency handling.
Most of the command-line options are supported, though those that
require lists of .swcs or folders may not exist or function in the same
way as the command-line tools yet. Some of this behaviour will be built
out and corrected as I discover how it needs to work in a maven,
dependency-aware context.
I'm going on a small holiday for about two and a half weeks. I will
post the second alpha for people to test. I have not yet set up a bug
tracking system, but I will be doing so, as well as a continuous
integration server that will build it and its test projects. One way
people can help is to play with it, and develop test project
configurations that they would like to see work and submit them to me
with some explanation of what seems to be missing. The documentation on
the site includes cross-referenced source as well, which is convenient
for browsing. Bug reports are welcome. Bug fixes are even moreso.
There is a lot of cleanup I intend to do in the source, so simple
cleanup comments are less helpful. It is alpha after all. I have test
projects which I have not deployed from which I derived the usage
documentation. I will figure out what to do with them later.
Christian.
