Hi, I often see names like AMF, Flash Remoting, Data Services, Web Services, etc on this list, and it makes me wonder whether I am using the correct technology for the project I'm about to work on.
The project is an online tool, allowing multiple users to work collaboratively. I figured I would use Flex + C# WebServices. Flex must poll the web server every x amount of seconds to see if any data has changed. (Flex would use the WebService class to load the WSDL and wait for results before parsing the results and acting on the data). If there is a better way of doing this, can you tell me what, and what benefits it would bring? Thanks, Mark
